The risk of illness which is directly or indirectly starting in the context of an officially declared epidemic / pandemic (such as COVID-19) is excluded from the SanaPro health insurance contracts issued by Allianz-Tiriac. COVID-19 was declared a pandemic risk by the World Health Organization (WHO) on March 11, 2020, which means that the health insurance issued by Allianz-Tiriac does not cover medical costs regardless of their type (direct settlement, reimbursement and compensations) generated by contracting the new Coronavirus.
