Allianz-Tiriac Asigurari supports the efforts to combat the novel Coronavirus by equipping the modular hospital built by the Daruieste Viata / Give Life Association in the courtyard of Elias Hospital in Bucharest, as well as other hospitals across the country, with five ICU devices worth 80,000 euros to treat severe cases of COVID-19.

The Daruieste Viata / Give Life Association has started the construction of a modular hospital in the courtyard of Elias Hospital in Bucharest, where severe cases of COVID-19 will be treated. The hospital will treat patients with COVID-19 in a critical condition, the objective being to isolate them and prevent the transmission of the virus to other patients in a serious condition treated in the ICU departments of existing hospitals. Two of the five ICU devices will be directed to the modular hospital, while three of them will be sent to hospitals across the country.
Allianz-Tiriac shall also support fundraising in an account dedicated to Daruieste Viata, inviting its employees, collaborators and partners to donate and thus help the super-heroes of these trying times, doctors and medical staff, in the fight against the novel Coronavirus.
The first donation in this regard, worth 5,000 euro, has already been made by Allianz-Tiriac Private Pensions. The amounts voluntarily directed to this account will be used for the purchase of protective medical equipment for medical staff in emergency hospitals across the country.
